Posted by Sim-Wolf on March 3, 2010 at 5:00 PM Comments comments (0)

I'm sure you've heard from other fansites and forums of the rumours of a "Hobbies and Professions" Expansion Pack for The Sims 3. Well, it turns out that the rumour is true, except it will be called "The Sims 3: Ambitions". A listing on for the game was found, along with the logo and four screenshots showing ghost hunting, glass sculpting, robotics and a firefighter breaking down a door.

The release date for the game is expected to be 1st June. That would make it 4th June for the UK.

Sim-Wolf Announcement!

Posted by Sim-Wolf on March 3, 2010 at 12:21 PM Comments comments (1)

Hey, everyone!

I'm going to have to make an annoucement today. Basically, I receieved some extremely upsetting news yesterday concerning my sister. Now this news is going to play with all my family's emotions and feelings in the next few weeks and I'm going to have a lot of mood swings and so fourth. I say it's going to play with our emotions for the next few weeks, but in fact it's going to affect us all for the rest of our lives and nothing will ever be the same again. So yeah, up until now, I've been losing interest in the game since the release of The Sims 3 and updates to the site have become rarer and rarer. I did say I was going to make an effort to bring this site back up to the standard it was before, but with such upsetting news, I'm not going to have any enthusiasm for the game or the site for the near future, and updating the site with news about updates to The Sims 3 Store, screenshots for the new Ambitions Expansion Pack, etc. is just going to be a boring nuisance for me. That's why I've decided that there is no point worrying about updating the site, and in comparison with what is about to happen this site means absolutely zilch, less than zilch, and I'm never going to be in the mood to update it.

Therefore, I've made the descision to stop running the site for the near future, and perhaps pick it up a few months down the line when I learn to accept what has happened and have time for little things like this again. However, above that, that may not even be a possibility with all the increasingly stressful school work and emotional distress I'm having.

This isn't what I want to do, but it's for the best. I decided to make this announcement so that I did not just disappear and refrain from updating the site ever again like many Sims fansite owners, but rather let you know that I don't plan on updating anytime soon so you aren't left thinking I've just abandoned my website (which I've been proud of for the last few years) because I simply don't care. But in the end, you can't control what happens in life, and other minor things like this are affected by the consequences of life's harsh realities.

So now all I have to say is goodbye for the time being, and thank you so much for visiting (and hopefully enjoying) my website, Sim-Wolf. In the rare case that you are a common visitor to this site, then I'm deeply sorry, but these things just happen I'm afraid. If you're looking for a good news site, then I highly recommend

Thanks again.
